Terms of Use

The app is licensed to you, not sold. On iPhone and iPad it is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement: read the Standard EULA. On Android it is licensed under these terms and the Google Play terms. If they differ on a point, the Standard EULA applies on Apple devices.

The licensor is Theodoros Tsavlidis, Metras, Digeni 3, 56123 Thessaloniki, Greece. Apple and Google are not parties to this agreement and are not responsible for the app.

The app is an on-device filter that blocks malware and phishing and counts trackers. It uses the system VPN interface locally to filter DNS lookups. It is not a VPN service. It does not hide your IP address, change your country or unblock content that is limited by region.

No filter is complete. The app can miss threats and can block a site by mistake. It cannot block ads or content served from the same domain as the site you use, such as ads inside some video or social apps. You can allow a domain in the app. Do not rely on the app as your only protection. Keep your device and apps up to date.

The block lists are built from third-party sources and our own checks. We do not own these sources and do not guarantee that they are complete or correct. Sources used (these are the only ones):

The app also shows these credits in its settings.

Malware and phishing blocking is free. Pro is optional. Aspida Metras Pro is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. One Pro purchase works on iPhone and iPad. The price is shown in the App Store or Google Play, in your currency, before you buy.

The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly price is charged.

Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account or Google Play account. You can manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. The lifetime purchase is paid once and does not renew.

On Apple devices, Family Sharing is available for Pro. Use “Restore purchases” in the app on a new device. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules. Nothing here limits your legal rights as a consumer.

Use the app only for lawful purposes. Do not copy, modify or reverse-engineer it, except as the law allows. The app may not be available in every country.

The app, its artwork and branding belong to Theodoros Tsavlidis, Metras or the licensors named in them. Third-party lists belong to their owners under the licences above.

The app is provided as it is. We try to make it work well, but we do not promise that it is error-free, always available or suitable for a particular purpose, except where the law requires it. We may update or discontinue features.

We are not liable for loss that the law does not allow us to exclude. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right that you have as a consumer.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. Our privacy practices are described in the Privacy Policy.
